Be advised that Illinois’ state court eFiling system, eFileIL, will be taken offline beginning at 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday, June 28th.
Lisa Goodwin, Business Technologies Manager and Legislative Liaison of the DuPage County Circuit Clerk’s office, recently presented information to my paralegal group on the status of DuPage County’s move to the statewide eFiling system. DuPage County was given an extension until July 1, 2019 and is the last Illinois county to integrate with the eFileIL platform. Ms. Goodwin advised that the mandatory outage would occur to allow for the integration of DuPage County onto eFileIL.
You will not be able to eFile in any county in Illinois until the migration is completed, sometime on Sunday, June 30th. Again, the outage will begin at 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday, June 28th.
I have confirmed with the help desk at Tyler Technologies that the eFiling site will be down during that time, and that Tyler will be posting a notice message about this outage on their Odyssey eFiling site soon. The State of Illinois and the courts have apparently already been notified.
Please double-check and confirm your deadlines now! Do not wait to file anything that is time-sensitive.
