Starting July 1st, 2021, eFiling (electronic filing) will be available for all civil, unlimited, limited, complex civil, unlawful detainers and small claims cases when filing in the Riverside Superior Court. This move makes filing court paperwork easy, accessible, and brings Riverside County up to date with other California counties like Los Angeles and San Diego.
While this change take effect July 1st, it will soon be mandatory for attorneys to eFile starting September 1st, 2021. We recommend attorneys start eFiling before the mandatory date to streamline your process. Pro se/self represented litigants will not be required to eFile after September 1st, but many pro se’s may find it more convenient to eFile with CourtFiling.net.
