eFiling exhibits in the Dupage County court system require some specifications that, if not applied properly, may result in a rejected filing.
An exhibit is a document that is attached to the court document to illustrate a point or to provide evidence.
Dupage County’s Local Rule 5.06(b) allows exhibits to be eFiled either attached to the main court filing or filed separately. If filed together in the main court filing, then the exhibits are combined with the court filing as one PDF document, and there is no need to include the Exhibit Cover Sheet. However, when you are filing the exhibits separately and apart from the main court filing, you will need to complete and use the Dupage Exhibit Cover Sheet, Form 4393, as a cover page for each exhibit. You can download the Dupage Exhibit Cover Sheet on page 3 of the county’s provided PDF document. If you do not use the Exhibit Cover Sheet the clerk will reject your filing and make you correct it.
